Hospitals are busy, noisy and, let's face it, daunting places. We've said elsewhere, that we can accompany you to medical appointments, but what if you need to stay in hospital.
For many of our customers, a time of one to one with a friendly face is just what's needed during a spell in hospital. A visit from someone who's not just going to dash in, prod or poke you, or worse, simply observe your vital signs and move on. We can't intervene in your medical care (although, if somethings obviously wrong we have a duty of care to raise it with the staff) but we can be with you, celebrating your progress and discussing your return home. You might want to play a board game as a distraction or simply dicuss the weather! A visit from a carer from Gracious Car can be such a tonic.
